Arosci Intensive Restructuring Foam

Foam is on the right
I just want to start with a disclaimer that this is a salon product and I am not a professional nor claim to be! These are the results of a regular consumer.
Ever since winning a basket full of Arosci Products I have been slowly testing them and seeing which ones I like. One product that I really wish I had tried earlier was the Intensive restructuring foam. Judging by the name, I feared it would loosen my curl to the point that it would be unrecognizable. As it turns out it has been one of the best things I’ve done to my hair in a while! Had I used it during my transition, I would have never had to cut my hair off so early.
My hair has been getting increasingly difficult to deal with as my last keratin treatment has completely worn off. I was ready for a new treatment and I decided I would go with something different. Arosci’s Intensive restructuring foam is NOT a keratin treatment. Rather it is one of the new age non keratin smoothing treatments that are coming out on the market. I was really excited to try it out after hearing positive reviews on it.

My hair before
The application process was really simple and I did not need much product at all. I applied the foam section by section and let it sit on my hair with a plastic cap for 30 minutes. then i blow dried and flat ironed. I only used two passes of the flat iron at 370 degrees.
The end result was super shiny and straight hair. it was Really nice although a bit stiff. I am not too sure why that is the case but I knew the treatment needed to be washed out anyway. I decided to keep it in for only a day before washing. the one thing I did not like about the treatment was the smell during flat ironing. It doesn’t smell toxic like the fumes from a formaldehyde containing BKT. But it did have an unpleasant odor that was a bit annoying.

My hair after
The next day after washing my hair there was a big difference. My curls were only slightly loosened and frizz free. I loved it. What I found really interesting about the treatment was that it actually made some parts of my hair that wasn’t that curly(especially the crown) to be curly and defined. usually that hair is a frizzy straight kind of texture so i was really pleased that my whole head was all frizz free curls.

Up close and personal
As far as strengthening I did notice I had less breakage after I washed my hair. I will continue to monitor my hair and see how it acts but so far my hair feels great and I love the results from the treatment. Not only do I have frizz free curls, but my hair is much easier to smooth and manipulate. I can’t say how well it works at preventing reversion on straight hair yet though. I feel as if my hair is too short to wear straight at the moment. I will do this treatment again in a few months and hopefully I can give more insight in that aspect. So far I really love this treatment!
