My new ultrasonic infrared iron!

LCD screen
A few weeks ago I received my infrared ultrasonic iron in the mail. I ordered directly from the manufacturer and because of this I was able to buy one at a fraction of the regular price. Since it was a sample order (the manufacturer usually ships in bulk) it is plain and has the generic “ultra and infra” on the LCD screen. Otherwise, it still has all of the functions that the brand name ones do plus it has adjustable settings!
If you don’t know about this iron, check out my previous post about Ultrasonic Infrared Irons.
So far I have used it with both moisturizing and protein conditioners. I find it is much more effective at strengthening the hair than moisturizing, but I can’t give my final say yet. I really love it for protein treatments. My hair always feel strong but not hard after using it.

Plain looking power house
The only downside about it (that I see so far) is that I need to add more time to my wash day. An ultrasonic infrared session adds on about 30 minutes of time, especially since I like to be very thorough. Because I want to start doing them regularly I think I may start wearing my hair in an unstraightened state more often, so I won’t end up spending so much time on my hair.
Otherwise I really love using it! Hopefully I can curb the breakage that occurs in the center of my hair with this tool. I might need to change my regimen up a bit as well to fit the times when I wear my hair “curly”
In the coming weeks I plan on making a more in depth video on this tool and a review. Until then check out a cool quick demo of the ultrasonic infrared iron in action!
